if the motor is stock except the fuel pump, and its running rich....it will be because the new fuel pump is pushing more fuel past the crap regulator.....and therefore getting more fuel through the injectors. You could easily adjust the k-value (down) to fix this issue. although if thats the reason ...

you should get a FPR.
stock one is crap, and a decent pump will override it.
get a decent one, set it somewhere good.....then adjust with nistune.
much more reliable

injection multiplier is the k value

so if I just use that ar file, and the latest NIStune, then I wont have any issues?
and just adjust timing as per injection?

and I'll confirm that he has a 470k ohm resistor in place

writing a nistune image to EPROM

I went to download and burn the bin to a EPROM today....and it didnt work :( I clicked, Sync PC, and it updated the PC with what we had programmed in Nistune. then went file Save as....and saved the rom image. but when I looked at the file it saved, it was a 32k file.....not the usual 16k file of a ...

ah....I havent got arount to mounting the USB connector to the ECU case yet....I guess that will be why the USB cable is not shielding properly.
I'll make sure all grounds are good....plus mount USB properly....and hopefully all wil be OK 8)

it keeps disconnecting randomly.....but always after a hard pull. ie....i'll pull up the log recorder, start recording....drive round normally and its fine....then if you give it a good hard pull in say 2nd.....as soon as you lift off the gas, its garunteed to disconnect consult....and hence also st...

so for the CA18.....what should the voltage be at fully closed, and fully open positions?
Im getting 0.3volts at fully closed (but im running a SR20 TPS.....so may be wrong????)

wierd, I wouldve thought that backfiring was due to too much fuel but the wideband was off the chart lean.....lol the TPS appears to be working....i remember the TPS closed light on the cosult display being on when were were tuning in the driveway.... but if you look through the log file....it says ...
