I thought they didnt have consult?
or is this for a Nistune CA ecu?....then whats the benfit of a consult port?

you cannot dial in a cam with the engine running at any rpm.....unless you have some sort of awesome gadget that allows you to adjust the cam gears while running!

92hp from a 2.5l engine in 1984????
Datsun were making single cam 1.6l engines in the late 60's that made 96hp!
nice wieght tho....for a car made in 1984, 895kg is pretty light!

just looked through a R33 manual, and it shows wiring as you described also.

maybe the plug he has isnt for a MAF? any other Nissan plugs that are the same type as the MAF plug?

RB20 MAF wiring

Hi Matt/Guys.... Im wiring a Datsun 1200 wagon up with a CA18DET at the moment, and about to change the MAF to a RB20 one. In the back of the Nistune document, is the pinouts for all the MAF's....are you sure these are correct? for the RB20, it says pin B is Signal, and pin E is 12V power. the MAF p...

is it possible to add into the software a fuel consumption tool? surely the software already can already recognise the injectory duty? so all the user would need to input is the pressure thier fuel is at (if not stock) . it would also be cool if you could add in an input for cost of fuel per litre.....

is the speed sensor used for ANYthing other than the speed limiter on a CA18 ECU?
does it affect fuel cut/recover?

reason is, when putting a CA into an older car with mechanical speedo drive, you loose the speed input
