Map Sensor

Post by 21FOX21 »

Is there any chance that we would be able to use a map sensor instead of a maf in the near future.

Sean from EFI performance was trying to get MAP working on the RB30 but had some problems getting it going

Gabe who is on these forums has spent a lot of time developing a solution for the KA24E on the hybridka.com forums. This includes using the air intake sensor, and implementing VE maps

That solution has potential to be ported to other systems in the distant future, depending on where he wants to go with that. Some of the ECU platforms do not have much scope for modification due to memory and hardware constraints
