Air temp sensor

What about using the OEM air ambient temp sensor ? I know S14s has one, part of the A/C, use it to adjust fuel/timing/boost depending on intake temp ? Basically a boost/timing/fuel per temp.

I think it has too much "inertia" (It holds the value for too long IMO), but plugging an aftermarket one could be done.

Then, no need to add a device like a DLP to record an input for this.

I think only R32 GTR Skyline and later model B14 SR20DE/S14 KA24DE ECUs have the AIT input. Other models would need to have a spare input added to include this. If I add MAP sensing to certain ECUs then I would plan to include it on those

It is not part of A/C it goes directly to display between instrument gauge, it isn't connect to any ECU ... It is only showing external temperature to driver.
