W11 sr20det fwd base map

Post by SSS_Hoon »

Hi, new to the forum and nistune.

I have a fwd sr20det from the W11, its currently running a U13 a/t ecu, with a gtir afm.

Been running a few years with a m/t base map on the nistune.

Has its dramas but for the most part was ok.

Recently for sum reason it started to run lean, going by my innovate mtx-l wideband. Then would run rich n rough as guts and stall at stop or when clutch in (more so then normal, as it does that normally, ive got sumwhat used to it).

Now i have the nistune software i wanna see if i can fix it.

I turned the nistune off, so its running on the u13 ecu and the running lean has stopped. But it's stalling more. Which i believe has something to do with using a auto ecu in a manual car. But wanna rule out the ecu first, by running a w11 base and see if that fixes anything.

Cheers

Damo

What we could do is reprogram the board with the original AT base image

Let me confirm. Your ECU is 23710-1E010 but the ECU base image is 23710-1E000 in the board?

In that case would need to reflash the board. Any changes to injectors? Using different MAF will make it run different on stock ECU mapping too

No, my ecu is a 46E10 U13 auto ecu. With a type 3 board in it, that has the u13 manual base map loaded onto it via the nistune software from the rom pack.

Biggest drama im having with it is, the stalling and rev dropping hunting when clutch is in and at lights.

There has been no alterations done to the map in anyway at all.

This should be programmed in the board: U13_SR20DET_4E610_AT.ent

I dont have a 4E600 BIN file even in the ROM pack. What is the part# reported by Nistune when you connect to it?

You mean what ecu part number comes up in nistune?

If so im fairly sure its the 4E610

From memory i couldnt find a rom for u13, it was ps13/u13 from memory.

The nistune board was sent to me with a modified map for the mods i had at the time. I have since changed engines and running a stock w11 det. So a dtock u13 manual map was loaded onto it instead.

I have a switch installed to switch between the nistune tune or the ecu tune (instead of changing the jumper inside).

Which is what i am running now, is the u13 ecu rune not what's on the nistune.

Basically after what base map i should run seeing as the engine is a w11 engine, and ecu is u13.

Those base maps were just to get it running with the different setup from memory. Has the ECU been tuned on a dyno?

Yes those settings where to get it running.

That engine is no longer in the car so it isnt any good.

I have flashed the u13 auto onto the nistune.

No dyno tune yet.

I just want to knw if there is a w11 det base map available for me to put in as a base to start tuning from, and to see if that fixes the stalling issues.
