Type 2 with Bosch 1700 Injectors

Hi, i am planning on some new injectors in a GTR wich i want to run Nistune in.
I am concerned about how well the stock/Nistune ECU would run these pretty big injectors.
Does anyone have any input or experience on this?
Several ECU`s struggle with rich idle because they don`t handle the low pulsewidths required.
I am running ID1000 on type 4 without any issues and i can easily lean it out as much as i want.

I've not seen such large injectors being used on a 6 cylinder engine. You are correct that the larger the injector, the smaller the pulsewidth required around idle. I am not sure how the nissan peak/hold drivers which are similar to many other ECUs would handle

Are you running E85 on this? Rule of thumb is about 30% more fuel required. We can reach 300rwkw on 480CC injectors on an RB25 which means about 630CC required for same power level using E85

What expected power levels are you looking at on the GTR?

For say 450rwkw you would be looking about 1.5x this amount which is about 945CC on E85. I would not see a reason to go any larger unless going over this

I've seen SR20s run upto 2000CC but with some work required (latency etc adjustments on lower end) but not sure with an RB which would require even less fuel 1-4cyl/6 cyl= 1/3 the amount than of an SR20 with the same power levels

What MAF?
Doesn't it depend on the maf potential whp if large injectors will idle nicely?

I have run ID2200cc injectors on a SR with Vi-pec, that setup also behaved like a stock injector.
No problem at idle or cruise.
It`s an R34 GTR with a R32 Nistune ECU i am interested in running this setup with.
The reason i am looking at the Bosch 1700cc is that they are the most bang for buck injectors i can find.
I only need about 1000cc really, and bosch also delivers 1000cc but i am thinking about future upgrades aswell.
Not looking for much more than 600hp right now.
Yes I run E85 exclusively.

As you can see here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3015 I am running 1000cc injectors on my 4 cylinder dailydriver on e85, Nistune handles them without problems.
Nothing left in the turbo and the injectors are probably getting close to their limit.

As for the MAF i am thinking maybe a Ford Lightning 90mm or something similar.

we use 2200cc all the time with nistune but we use e85 this means the behave more like 1500-1600.
