Can I use two LC-1's in Nistune

Hi Guys. This is my first post on this site so please bear with me.

My car is a 93 300zx convertible twin turbo. I have installed two LC-1's and a TC4 (that is reading two EGT probes).

When I daisy chain a single LC1 to the TC4 and connect it to Nistune everything works fine. I can see the wideband signal and the signal from both EGTs. When I add in the second LC1 it does not show up in Nistune.

Nistune seems to see both LC1s because it will display one as LC1 and if I reverse the wiring it displays LC1a on the gauge screen.

Is this normal? Does Nistune only support one LC1 at a time? Can I add the second LC1 using 'Just another wideband'?

try the 0.9.13 version and let me know how it goes. ive only got one single LC-1 here to test and I forgot to grab Petes LM-1 last week to daisy chain it and test

in theory it should work in that version because I've added the second 'AFR' input seen as the RHS O2 output inside the software. Please try with that version and let me know if RHS shows up

Hey Matt

No luck. I can only see one of the LC-1s on the wideband screen and I only see one of them when I use the multiple gauges display as well. The two EGTs from the TC4 show up fine. I am sure that they are wired correctly as I can see everything working fine in Logworks.

Did I need to change anything in the software configuration or just load the latest version? (current version number is 9.13.1b)

Thanks

bummer. can you please send a debug log file through?

File-Configuration-Debug log

Then restart Nistune and connect to the WB1 sensor with both LC-1 plugged in

Then afterwards disconnect and close Nistune

Log file is Nistune*.log in c:\Program Files\Nistune\logs

I have 2 XD16 and 2 LC1 all daisy-chained.

It works like a charm on 0.9.13.9b.
(except sometimes Consult log recorder stops in an unexpected way, as Nistune lost the connection with LC1s and/or ECU).

so does the twin turbo need 2 LC-1's or can NIStune run fine with only one, I thought it could
thanks

it will run fine with just 1 but some people want to measure AFRs from both sides

Hey Matt.

My car has been away all winter. Booted up the latest version of Nistune and fired it up - seems to read both LC-1s just fine now. Thanks

Hey Matt

I just loaded up the latest version 0.10.9 and it appears that I am back to only seeing one of the LC-1s. Has something changed?

Thanks

Was broken in the earlier 0.10.x releases but works in 0.10.9

I've got a LM-2 and LC-1 daisy chained together and just verified today on two separate machines (Win7 and WinXP)

If still having issues, reinstall logworks, verify your chain works in that and then check again with Nistune and report back. We dont include the MTS.DLL with Nistune any more since Innovate has their own and it has been updated for their later units
