VLT connect and download from ecu

Post by bachig24u »

Hi Matt,
the latest couple of flavours to current 1.3.33 is behaving slightly differently.

1. load FP address file
2. load bin.
3. connect to ECU
4. download from ECU to nistune.

nistune no longer shows "downloaded image" file name in the slot (usually 1) and display only the rom bin initially chosen.

problem, corrupting base image file. As I move a copy of original base to custom named folders.

secondly, I can't always catch it but Nistune allows changing parameters or maps of the non current displayed viewed window.
randomly I find some graphs with way off numbers in them. for example "K" set to 6456.

third one I found, config "max window" count.
keeps going back to "10" regardless of setting it to "4".

all issues found whilst using VLT FP Auto roms... not sure if its related or not.

Now it shows the imported base image file which is used for the download. This gives some context of what is loaded

However Save or Save As will prompt for a new file name (will not overwrite the base image imported from the ROM pack)

Example Z31 ECU

max window needs more investigation. I've worked out there is a problem with the indexing which is preventing older windows getting closed
