the problem of the ignition coils LS2-7 (ecr33)
hello. put on ECR33 ignition coil LS2-7, the spark is weak, the brain is p32. dvel time increased for these coils, but the spark was not stronger! began to look for the problem, looked oscilloscope signal wire should give 5volt! but gives 12 volt, 12 volt gives 33 for brain and 32. why the 12 volt gives the signal wire??

I've always modified the hardware to suit the LS coils.

what exactly are you modding. what are the figures presented in the maps?skyline_stu wrote:I've always modified the hardware to suit the LS coils.

I raised the values in the map "Dwell Time" and on the oscilloscope charging time was 4.5 m.s. but the spark weak.

Any more info on the hardware change to suit the LS2-7 coils?

I'm interested in this as well - I plan on doing this coil swap.

Stu hasnt posted on here for a while. The dwell time vs volt table needs to be increased to adjust in the software for longer coil time. I'm not sure what hardware changes are required to drive these coils (Stu wasn't specific on that)
