S14 KA24DE EGR

Post by BlueRB240 »

unchecked the EGR valve, save the file burned the changes to the ecu. Check engine light goes off, Check the ecu codes all looks good. Turn car off and turn back on code pops back up and the check engine light comes back with EGR solenoid. Checked to see if is still unchecked and it sure is. The EGR solenoid is plugged into the harness still. Any other S14 KA24DE guys get a check engine light for no EGR?

I have an S14 (95). I left the solenoid plugged in and no vacuum lines hooked up to it. No check engine light. I even checked the box (EGR TEMP OFF). No codes. Maybe yours is a 96?
