Z32 MAFs

Post by HermaN »

I am on the look out for a Z32 MAF and have been offered one at a good price from a 1991 Z32 N/A, after a bit of searching some people are saying these are the same as the Twin Turbo MAFs.

Can anyone 100% confirm if these are the same? We need a MAF capable of over 400 BHP and compatible with NIStune. Will this MAF work perfectly fine or does it abolsutely have to be a MAF from a Z32 VG30DETT?

Cheers

Pretty sure they're the same. Eric will know.

If it looks like this you're onto a winner.

Don't buy a used one though - you'll often be buying hours of trouble. New ones are the only way to go, and since Bosch bought JECS you can get them at any Bosch dealer. And it good prices too. Around $AU300 here. People were previously paying up to $250 for used ones!

Sweet, cheers guys. @ PL, a brand new one here is around £500, where as this used one is £80 + delivery.....

Also the guy is testing it today and putting up pics of it before I buy it, buying it from a guy on the 300ZX owners club in the UK.

Make sure you pull the screens off and clean the sensing element properly before you use it.
