Ka24det 4000rpm limit problem

Post by bonomoskat »

Ok little on my set up s13 ka-t with
6262
id1000cc injectors
z32 maf
blaster coil
6al msd box

Heres what happened last time i drove the car it ran good untill right at the last couple min then it jumped one time like a big miss . then i went to start it up the next day and i seen a fuel leak so i fixed that. started it up and once it warmed up it wouldnt rev past 4000rpms but when its cold it will rev freely .And the throttle response is very bad. its weird i replaced my tps did nothing and it reads the right volts. thought it could be my maf but the volts are reading right on the nistune .Did a pressure check on the piping and intake all is good.the spark plugs were very black so i replaced them and now the new ones are getting dark fast too. whats yalls thought on this? could i of messed up a setting in the tune? thanks ahead!

Post a log file and BIN file and we can have a look.

MAF sounds like the issue at the moment but will need to look at the injection time vs MAF voltage to know for sure

BIN file looks like it only has the maps in it. This is because the file has not synced into a factory file out of the ROM pack

Due to this I do not know your ECU part#. What is your ECU part # 23710-XXXXX?

What you need to do is make sure you have the ROM pack installed properly. Then sync your ROM image again into Nistune and post that BIN file to compare against the factory file

What is the part# also on your Nissan ECU case? A18-xxxx-xxx?

ECU # is 23710-53F01 is the part# which should be displayed in the top panel inside Nistune

Make sure you see this when you connect

Did you install the ROM pack to the default location?

Documents\Nistune\ROM Pack

If so then File > Configuration to set the same ROM Pack directory so Nistune can see it (refer to software users manual)

Perhaps to a complete uninstall/reinstall of both to default locations. Usually it works without any issues
