Intake air temperature gauge non-operational

Post by GZ@hybridka »

It seems that in the latest version 0.90119 with the new extended gauge option, that the IAT (intake air temp) gauge is not operating.

Consult doesnt hang, and the gauge pops up ok, but without data output on the needle or label.

Data translation and location in consult table is per consult docs.

Very nice gauges btw!

are you able to datalog this for me so i can see the translated data recorded and try out playback to see the guages?

i dont have an IAT sensor input on my bench unfortunately to try this out. or i should find another ECU which has IAT just to look at the guages

Sorry about the delay, here is a short datalog representing what I described.

One thing I should mention is that I had to modify the ka24e's consult table in order to place the IAT variable at the proper offset (according to generic consult documentation). I did this so that it would work with available software, such as datascan, which it does properly with my modified code (same code im using here with Nistune).

The original consult enabled ka24e code has the IAT in a different place on the table, so if you look at any of those codes they will be different. Just a heads up.

I've looked into the code which looks okay but I dont have a KA24 ECU here to test this particular register out. Does it work in 'streaming/logging' mode at all?

I'll try it out on the R32/Z32 ECUs also and see how that goes when I get back
