5v supply r32 gtr ecu

Post by madaxgt »

I am trying to get map sensor values into consult using a techedge 3b1 which will send the sensor data over the serial connection. I need a 5v source to run the map/boost sensor which is the best one to use for the 32 gtr ecu. I was thinking TPS as its close to where the sensor will be? Is the power supply sufficient to run another sensor from it?

TPS may work but not sure if you can source current from it

You would be best sourcing the power direct from the regulator. Have a look at our Feature Pack hardware installation manual. There is a wire which goes to middle pin of the 12V > 5V regulator which powers the flex board. You could use that as your feed
