Here's a quick look at why you should consider picking your fabrication shops with some care - especially critical safety item like roll cages !! It's not the bits you can see that are the problems

He's lucky that he never crashed at high speed, as I suspect some of the welds would have well and truely fallen to pieces...

I've seen our ANDRA officials comb carefully over our prebuild welds and stamps for tube marking etc.

I really hope it's one shop in the USA taking cheap shots at another and not really a true story.
Surely nobody could weld that badly or even cut tube with such inaccuracy that many times over.
