I found a few boost leaks in my intercooler piping so I basically have re-fabricated all of the piping over the past couple of weeks. I've had the car sitting on jack stands with the battery removed and the battery has been sitting in my garage on the trickle charger.

All I can find about calibration on turbo applications is to calibrate before a new sensor install, then again after 3 months, and ultimately twice a year or 10k miles.

Do I need to re-calibrate the sensor now since the battery has been removed?

For future reference, out of curiosity, would I also need to re-calibrate if I ever had to unplug the unit from the 02 sensor wiring (like, say to relocate the wiring in the engine bay or something). If the battery ever goes dead but was not removed would I also need to re-calibrate?

This is an innovate question! Anyway you should not need to re calibrate apart from their schedule or if the readings dont look right. removing the battery etc is okay as it stores the settings internally
