Connection issue after update to 1.2.98

Post by MomentFD » Fri Nov 23, 2018 4:57 pm

Hey all,

I've been using Nistune 1.2.76 without any issues for a while and recently updated to 1.2.98. It auto prompted to correct the address file (S14 SR) and now it can't connect for the life of it. It say's "can't connect on com port" down in the lower left then walks me through troubleshooting the cable. RX light does indeed blink green on connect attempt. I reverted to 1.2.76 and it connects fine.

In device manager, it doesn't say PLMS for the port device. It just says "USB serial device" or something similar, but it also says this when I successfully connect with .76.

Any suggestions here? I finally got my LM-1 reading from a MAP sensor and want to progress on street tuning.

Thanks

**Edit - just saw the sticky. I'll run through it.

Please take a debug log file of the current (working) version (just connecting for a few seconds)

File > configuration > debug logging (tick and restart)

Then do the same with the latest version and email the logs through. I'll see what is going on and let you know
