Innovate MTX-D for flex fuel

Post by Nenaudelis »

Hi guys,

is it possible to connect Innovate MTX-D to Type 4 board for flex fuel readings?
As I understand for the board it is necessary to give 0-5V range input. This is possible to do with Continental sensor and Nistune flex fuel convertion kit.

Innovate have: 2-Configurable analog outputs
  • Ethanol Content: 0v = 0%, 5v = 100%
  • Fuel Temp: 0v = -40 °F, 5v = 257 °F (-40-125°C)
So on paper it looks like possible. Maybe someone done that?
And how and where to connect input to the board?

https://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTXD.php

Ethanol Content: 0v = 0%, 5v = 100%

This looks the same as the Zeitronix ECA-2 so this should be fine 0-5V output level for ethanol content, so will wire in the same as the Zeitronix in our 'Feature pack hardware manual' on the website
Yellow Ethanol % 0V = 0% Ethanol 5V = 100% Ethanol
Red / Black to the ECU power lines
