Type 5 board phase out

Hey all. We are down to our last stocks ~20 of Type 5 boards (S14 SR20DE, K11 CG10/CG13 and B13 SR20DE half size ECUs) We have run out of current stocks of parts for these boards and have made the decision not to do a redesign and produce more PCBs since they are a niche selection of vehicles. Note ...

Re: Nistune 1.4

General question: why does Nistune require Admin rights to be installed if you don't install the drivers ? May it change ? When Nistune was coded up it was done back in the WinXP days, so everything was located in a single user and documents folder. Some of the items like Innovate MTS may require a...

Re: IAT equipped MAF at Type1/2 boards (not equipped)

1. Some ECUs (later model Nissans) use IAT to correct boost, timing etc based on the difference in ambient temperature temps. Where real life boost pressure changes based on air temps 2. Most Nissan ECUs run a pill type boost arrangement with upto usually max 8psi from factory so did not factor in t...

Forum Server errors - 500

I'm aware since the recent PHP update of 500 server errors on password reset and maybe some other pages. We are planning on doing a PHP upgrade but that is going done in a test area since it affects the rest of the main site too

Re: board operation and broken pin

Sorry about the delay with reply. I've upgraded the forums but getting some errors (500 server error) so have to upgrade PHP and everything else

Good you got it working. Should only operate with all pins connected, unless the pad manages to touch the socket in your case

Re: Re-sizing injectors

If starting from scratch, do the MAF change first (if required) then resize 370CC to 1000CC straight up After this then you will need to adjust K to get the load positioning cursor working throughout the fuel/timing maps and TIM for adjusting total fuel Only if you purchase a gauge which can take th...

Re: board operation and broken pin

All base images must match the ECU they are installed in So this board must be reflashed using a base image programmer to the part (or Feature pack firmware equivalent) matching the ECU (for most Z31 ECUs 26P0H will be the part # to program in from the ROM pack) With the broken pin, Samtec are what ...

Re: Feature Pack updates + Information thread

Unfortunately if it is 47P1H (only Z32 part affected) the board will need a reflash to the version released 14 October 2022

Try contacting CZP for the update. They can invoice me for the time if required

Re: R33 Rb25det S2 launch button set up

From manual: Enable the Launch control tick box in the Feature Control Flags panel. This will provide the ability to use the following Launch Control (LC) parameters in the ECU. So yes you need to have this (Bit 1) ticked, otherwise nothing will work. Just having Bit 2 / 3 only will not do anything,...

Re: Second Part of R33 launch control building boost

The ECU doesn't do negative retard, so set it low (say around 0 BDTC) With RPM limit cut, start low and work your way up until you start getting some boost. Retard only set slightly before the cut as you won't need it after that point. You can only build so much boost up depending on size of the tur...

Re: R33 Rb25det S2 launch button set up

With FP1 firmware, refer page 30 of the feature pack manual https://www.nistune.com/docs/Nistune%20Feature%20Pack.pdf Per the manual, there is a trigger on/off operation So if you currently start with Bit 1 and Bit 3 ticked, then it will flash, and should hit the limit at 4800rpm (or lower) until it...
