afm voltage at idle at changed - new nistune version??
when playing with nistune today i noticed maf voltage is now reading 2.0 volts at idle where as it used to read 0.6 volts. engine off it reads 1.5 volts car runs the same, accessing the same cells. i know the type 1 has a 1.5 volt offset, has this been added to the value displayed in the consult gau...

Classified section worthwhile??
just wondering now that the user numbers are increasing, maybe a classified section would be worthwhile.
As members upgrade their setups, maybe there old parts can be of use to members chasing smaller hp numbers.
Im thinking things like afm's and injectors etc not body parts, wheels or stereos.

ok, i've just had a good play around with the consult log player, which gives me the TP value in brackets which translates into the load table. well Nistune just gets better!! I adjusted the load scales and then reran my logs while viewing the fuel/ignition maps, and it actually shows which cells wi...

TP Value - 39900???
IN the tuning doc it says to read the max tp value and use this as the max value in the load scale table.
All the screen shots i have seen have tp values found in the load scale table.
However mine shows up as 30 odd thousand?
Is there an error somewhere causing this?

have just been playing with my ecu in a mates VL. Also a turbo but with a stock std ignition system (read no CDI) With this vehicle, my laptop stays connected pretty much as long as he doesnt come under full load conditions. As soon as this happens, the connection is lost. I have a screen shot, show...

speed sensor voltage
as im adding a speed sensor to my car, does the speed sensor signal need to be a 12v, 5v or ground signal?
is there 5v available at one of the terminals i can use to power the speed sensor?
maybe the tps supply at terminal 25?

plugged another oxy sensor inin fresh air and it read close enough to 0. so that rules out any offset being applied through dodgy wiring or program. dropped injector multiplier down to 0 and the car would start but not run. set it to 100, and my oxy sensor still read around 1.2 dropped the fuel map ...

i could load the base map, but then i would have to resize the injectors and change the latency, which is all i have done so far. ill try it, but i havent done significant mods, especially none at idle, so i dont know if it will fix it. did you also have issues running rich every where else in the m...

i dont have a wideband yet. (tried a snap-on sniffer, but that read from 10 to 50 afr) i'll try the other sensor plugged in but in atmosphere and see what reading i get. also ill check the voltage coming from the sensor. from what i have read, the sensor only outputs between 0 and 1 volt, and i am g...

i just dropped my latency down .25v and dropped the whole fuel table down 10 points. My o2 sensor is still reading around 1.15?? Is this a massively over rich reading? or only a minute variance to 14.7?can someone tell me that this equals an AFR of x?? I also took around 10 pounds of fuel pressure o...
