What is the exhaust diameter where the Wideband is welded in to?
How far is it from a bend or the turbo outlet?

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Ok, I noticed your tune still uses it's input.
it's not going to work with Ethanol too well as the blends vary.

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Are you using a wideband output to feed narrowband 02 voltage to ECU?

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Had a quick look,
I'm having trouble opening the log file in Nis, but what I could see in the calibration is changes made to TIM or K that don't add up.
I need to ask what fuel type the engine was tuned for?

Re: FP Launch Control
yes, it shows F at the end. I thought these were used in the 04U60 ECU also. FP-versions.jpg To clarify, FP.ent on the 11Uxx & 04U60 ECU's will utilise pwr steering input for LC SW but is the pwrsteer input permanently disabled from the programming of FP.ent or does this happen only when LC SW f...

Re: FP Launch Control
The only answer for that is, too many late nights sorting out Alcohol engines for the Nats last week. yep Definitely managed some confusion on this one. Double checked and the pin113 was hooked to a gnd trigger sw. (not 46 as I originally thought). Is there anyway to confirm that the correct FP is l...

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Does the log show this consistently ?
Log at least 3 instances of each scenario
for example
1. under light load and changing gear at same rpm. (x3)
2. under moderate load and changing gear at same rpm. (x3)
3. under heavy load and changing gear at same rpm. (x3)
to confirm.

FP Launch Control
Hi Matt, I have an 04u60 & RB26 Engine loom that we've added for pin 46 Aircon input so we can trigger Launch Control. Should have HCR32_RB20DET_11U0F_MT_MEC-212B_FP.ent file in a type 2. I've checked 3x feature control flags BIT 1, BIT 2 & BIT 3 for Launch Control, Launch switch & Launc...

Re: Ford Lightning MAF 550cc injectors
I really don't have much regard for the Z32/Q45's as they don't handle reversion with big turbo's. Ford_MAF.jpg HPX, Ford Lightning are my chosen ones due to flexibility.... haven't tried the R35 in a decent tube but that would be a wise choice due to availability in AUS. what combo do you need a tu...

Re: save main ECU image as "not opening save as window"
ok.. more info on this one..
what happens is if you open a bin file, CNTRL-S will open bin files location.
if you open a log file, CNTRL-S opens log file location to save bin file.

save main ECU image as "not opening save as window"
Matt, 1.2.50 & 1.2.49 both exhibit an issue intermittently, after opening FP addys, then bin files, then making changes with/without consult, then choosing "Save main ECU image as" doesn't open save window. lost a tune today that set me back a few hours I didn't have. press F1 to look ...

Re: Changing the ignition dwell time
looks like it's there to prevent damage to the ECU from the feed back from the coil.
Measure pin 3 to transistor and see if resistance is very high value..
That will tell you if its there to gnd/feed a small current to let ECU know if transistor is ok, so it doesn't trigger an ignition DTC.
