So far,
Vehicles using LS1 coils seem to throw up a DTC 21. no idle issue noted.
I haven't seen the issue with the LS7 coils.
04U60 and 11U00, not sure if its ECU related.

no response from innovate.
Matt, what sensor are you using with it, 4.2 or 4.9?

Thanks for confirming Matt.
That's becomes a royal pain when the coms daisy chain connectors are buried in the dash board somewhere.

innovate MTS devices x2
Hi Matt,
If I want to run an LM-2 via usb and an LC-1 via USB without chaining them, there is no option to do so in the latest beta.
Is it not supported to use two individual devices?

Re: LM-2 firmware 118
I've rolled back to 117 and it appears to be stable again.
maybe lsu4.9 support isn't quite there yet along with lsu4.2 backwards compatability.

LM-2 firmware 118
Hi All, Just updated the LM-2 from 117 firmware to 118 for LSU4.9 support. used innovates firmware update utility. worked fine but after some period noticed wideband randomly rebooting, also randomly recalibrating itself whilst monitoring live exhaust stream using the LSU4.2 sensoring that was previ...

Re: LS2/LS7 coils and DWELL Time
omnigear, I will be checking an RB25 that had a LS1 coil swap this week. also has DTC 21.
I'll check if the idle issue is related to DTC 21.

Re: LS2/LS7 coils and DWELL Time
STATUS post your quick tweaks so Bgytm can get on with troubleshooting the real issue. I would like to know too so I can correctly setup the dwell time when I install my LS2 D514A coils Hi, Did anyone get a reply from STATUS on this? rick88ss or Bgtym? Bgtym, Did you end up sorting out the misfire ...

Re: a stupid question
Matt, Out of curiosity and the lack of wanting to go outside on a 40+deg day. Do you mean 10,000 or 100,000 cycles? 10,000 write cycles is around 27 cycles /day for a year. assume 10 cycles /month, 80 years worth if the substrate hasn't deteriorated be forehand. or 100,000 write cycles is 27 /day fo...

Hi,
Usually, several thousand times.
more than will ever be used in most street warriors.
My development boards have done 300 or so over course of 8 years, no issues yet.

Re: RB20 Example Maps
Sorry bud, I'm sure many would like to help but the fact your asking for the purpose of a very long drive is a risky proposition. Better off hiring a trailer and towing the car to the tuner. cheaper in the long run mate. Just too many variables to consider. If you do anyhow then the only things I wi...

Re: Lean delay after shifting
Remove the TPS and manually rotate it to see if the enrichment is working. Any slow change should not result in a fuelling change but a rapid one should make the engine cough and splutter a decent puff of fuel out the exhaust if the throttle is not actually opening. We haven't seen much change when ...

Re: [SR20] MSD ignition: DTC 21 + timing adjustment problem
Does the timing in nistune consult gauges correspond to the timing light indication on the harmonic balancer at 4000? if not, can you confirm that TDC is correct on harmonic balancer by rotating the engine until no.1 piston is at TDC using a dial indicator gauge and then confirm that the TDC mark (0...

When the engine is at 4000rpm does the spark timing line up with ECU advance?

Re: [SR20] MSD ignition: DTC 21 + timing adjustment problem
It sounds like the timing belt/chain is off a tooth or the distributor is out a tooth. even the distributor chopper disc can cause it if its wrong way up. It's hard to tell as I don't know how many teeth are on the pulleys/gears but if you are 15 degrees off in an RB then the chances are its out 2 t...
