Re: Power surge on USB port error.....

Oh yeah....last time I tried to use it, it wouldnt work either for other reasons, and I sent it back to Matt, where he found out that the board had just wiggled loose from the EPROM socket (feel kinda stupid lol), and he put it back in, and glued it up so it didnt happen again. This is the first tim...

Re: Base maps

that'd be great if you could set something up as a base for me! yeah, this is the second s/c CA18 we've done.....but the other one was done on a DET block, so had lower compression. the first time at the dyno on the last car, we had a lot of problems with the MAF voltages going up and down all over ...

Re: Base maps

ok, so a good place to start would be to compare a DE and a DET map, and fill a new map with the lowest of both the standard maps. They've been driving it for ages now on a standard CA18DET ecu, but have the timing pulled right back via the ...

Re: VG30ET....running different ECU/loom

so a R32/Z32 CAS will go in place of the Z31 VG30ET dizzy? sounds great if it would fit?
If it does, then I think we'll go with a complete R32 setup

Re: VG30ET....running different ECU/loom

so I have found out that the engine is a Z31 VG30ET, and has a dizzy.

so does that leave us with either a Z31 or R31 loom and ECU as our only options?
