AFAiR, depending on the orientation of the clamp on the wire, the timing lamp may not flash at the right time making you thinking your timing is off.
Always try both directions (upside down).
In all cases, CAS bolts should be more or less in the middle of the holes.

Consult 1 (grey 14-pin) interface/connector information
Some Consult 14-pin (chinese) interfaces are wrongly wired: you may have the HICAS light on after a while. Symptoms: 1) the steering becomes heavy very quickly after cold start 2) after a while the HICAS light comes on. In fact, speed signal (coming from the dash cluster) is available on some Consul...

Re: 300ZX Z32 - One side richer + knock, long story
These are phase 1 injectors, they cannot be redrilled as they are pin-type injectors. Maybe Subaru used the same type in the past. I have 370cc phase 2 redrilled = 740cc, so far so good, since 8 years with E85. I have also bought 270cc new phase 2 injectors (chinese knock-off). Once shaved, they flo...

Re: 300ZX Z32 - One side richer + knock, long story
OEM K is 288 OEM latency is 750us. Your injection pulse @idle is in the range of 2ms. Injector latency is not the problem. Idle should be very smooth. To check the injectors are leak-free, check fuel pressure with engine off, the fuel rail should stay > 2bars more than 10 minutes. AAC valve is the a...

Re: 300ZX Z32 - One side richer + knock, long story
We could speak in french. I have JWT90.bin in my archive for reference. I had a look to your logs. You have too much advance in midrange compared to stock european 300zx, and too much advance for unleaded fuel (SP95 or SP98). This is the reason of knock. Btw, it looks like the OEM knock detec...

Please post some stock 300zx Z32 Nistune CSV logs
I need some Nistune CSV logs from a stock 300zx Z32 (370cc injectors, OEM AFM) with cruising phases at a given speed.
I need to check typical TP value when cruising on a stock 300zx in link with the speed value.
If some people have, please post.

Think about "Full touch control of Nistune" (win10 tablet / car dashboard)
So, a cross ....
There was a title bar before, this is the way Windows works.

Re: Warm up Timing
Refer to this: https://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3727&p=27262&hilit=TIMING_ADVANCE#p27289 btw, this is normal for the ECU to push timing (more advance) when cold during warm-up, this is wanted behavior. This is still more true when running E85. These jeopardize the timing b/w...

Re: ECU Pulling 5 degrees? no clue why?
Check these tables (sorry they are for Z32, look into ADR Fiels for correspondence with your table addresses): #Timing TIMING_ADVANCE,&H7EC0,16,1,16,1 TIMING_RPM_SUBTRACT,&H7540,16,1,16,1 They are after start time advance according to temp and retard according to rpm. If wrongly balanced, th...

Gauges panel, select gauges each time
Each time I open gauges panel (4x3) and I connect Consult, Nistune opens "select gauges" panel even if I unticked the box "Display on connect" previously.

Re: Make 'ESC' not close windows when in input mode!
Please provide another solution to close the graph independently from the map window. Currently, it's ESC key only and that obliges to use keyboard.
Should be close'able with mouse.

V1.2.93 displays fine in tablet mode and real time behavior is fine too.
I'm happy you solved all of this. Thanks.

Re: Display / Icons size not ergonomic
Problem remains with 1.2.92. There's a link with the display scaling factor applied by windows to make the UI user friendly. But the scaling factor recommended value causes trouble for Nistune only in tablet mode. Native resolution 1920x1200, 8" display. Desktop mode + 200% scaling factor: top ...
