Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
I once partly disassembled a RB20DET base rom and from what I remember it had 2 additional AFR related tables active up to ~3000 rpm. One was TPS related, the other one I don't remember... One quick way to find out if it is the O2-sensor causing your troubles, is to disconnect it. Then try to get yo...

Re: R32 GTR Diagnostics
Before disabling knock sensor(s)...have you ruled out it's not caused by actual detonation ? Does it seem to occur under similar circumstances, eg. when accelerating from lowish rpm under load. You can try to retard the timing a few degrees (rotate CAS) and see if the problem disappears or becomes l...

Re: VG30DETT FuelPressure drop help!!!
Make sure you haven't used regular fuel hose to connect the pump to the outlet (the small piece of hose that sits inside the tank).. Regular fuel hose is not suitable for use inside a fueltank and will rupture or 'balloon' when under pressure...ALWAYS use the special type fuel hose that is suitable ...

Re: RB25DET Z32 ECU, Fuel Pump Activation.......
the Z32 ECU will prime for approx. 1 second after ignition is turned on...this is normal operation and not limp mode.
Once the engine is cranked it will switch on the pump again.
Maybe the values in the (cold) crank table need some more adjustment.

Re: Engine failsafe trigger by boost / AFR / temp warning
>water temp / oil temp warning activate stage 1 protection >> cutting boost control solenoid power = lower the boost to wastegate spring pressure this can actually be achieved in a very simple manner and I normally do this standard in all the cars that I install an EBC in: cut the wires that normall...

Re: AFM, O2, knock delete possible?
MAP conversion can be done, but as Matt writes, it is a lot of work and involves rewriting the code. Also type 2 ECU's don't have enough memory to do this properly. (especially if you'd want to include some kind of selflearning/tune/correction function) There are good aftermarket solutions available...

Re: VTC settings on RB25DET / z32 ECU
There's basically only one way to set it correctly and that's on a dyno/rolling-road.
You do one run with VTC turned off and one run with VTC switched on (permanently)
Then overlay the two readouts and the point were both graphs cross will be your ideal VTC switching point.

Re: Nistune for Android 4.0
No, I haven't tried it myself yet...just found it a few months ago.
I personally think using a phone or tablet as a diagnostic or tuning platform would be awkward and useless.

not sure if it's of any use, but the NATS E3 code stands for: open circuit in power source line of antenna/amp circuit.

idle should be fine after AIV removal.
you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere or connected/bypassed a hose from the old AIV system incorrectly ?

Re: Is it possible to feed ABS signals into Nistune?
it's not as simple as just comparing the signals.. there are other variables to take into account, a few important ones are:. -cornering has an influence on individual wheelspeed and may be seen as slip -difference in tire/wheel diameter has an influence on individual wheelspeed and may be seen as s...
