Did you try adjusting the timing offset setting in the address file? Its a sort of final trim for the timing advance logging/monitoring, Matt added it for those ecus that do not use a common timing advance consult stream correction. One example would be the ka24e which is 30 degrees different (compa...

Ka24e consult stream fixed.

Just as an update. I have fixed the timing advance correction, IAT, and EGR of the ka24e U12 consult stream. These now operate properly along the lines of the documented Consult protocol PDF's. The IAT is somewhat useful, the code uses it to cut some timing off the final value, a 16 point scale vs. ...

Hey Rune, All U12 ka24e ecus 1990-1992 (all yrs) have consult capability. This includes north american U12 stanza and australian U12 pintara/trx/corsair. These ecus are pin for pin plug-n-play for 1989-90 north american s13 240sx. Also with minimal pin changes these ecus can run: 90-93 D21 ka24e 91-...

The 90-91 maxima's in the US have consult. We have one sitting in the pen with a bent subframe and hole in the gas tank, 14 pin consult connector is hanging right there but I havent had a chance to inspect ecu and/or dump the code. Would there be interest? I would have already pulled the ecu and MAF...

I am not sure which A/D converter the R31/Z31 ecu uses, I assume most use the 46510? (like my early z31 here). I dont think a datasheet was ever located for this chip, but I could be wrong. The HD46508 used in some 6303 ecus is a 8 (or) 10-bit A/D, but it is loaded as a 10-bit (1024-division) and th...

A Speed/RPM based launch limiter

I couldnt fit it in the title, but the topic of this post would be more appropriately, "a speed/rpm based launch limiter without re-writing a bunch of the original rev/speed limit routine". Speed oriented launch limiter is a nifty little feature that I always wanted to add to my ecus, but ...

Manipulating PORT 6 of the 6303

I have successfully re-written a portion of the ka24e code to take control of Port 6 of the 6303 (address 0017). This output port is connected to the outside world via the PU4424 high speed darlington transistor, with ample load ratings for various solenoids and relays. Originally this port controls...
