Right, mapped this guys car a while ago, and it has developed a misfire in 1st at around 6000 RPM in first gear only. Is it possible to just log an ECU with NIStune that has had a pin lock put on it? I know it would have to be wiped with a NIStune programmer in order to re-map it, but the lad just wants his car checked over right now.

Well, turns out it was the MAF, swapped back to his stock one and the car responded as expected! Got the fueling all sorted today (12.5 on spool, dropping to 11.9/12.0 from 3500 RPM onwards), but laptop battery started to die, so have left the ignition advance for next weekend.

Just wondering, if you have a car that is logging knock, but there is nothing being heard via det-cans, can the sensitivity of the sensor be altered, so that is only pick up knock when you can actually hear it on det-cans?
