Re: Z31 ECU - burned diode help
its quite miracle, but ecu is still functional....it looks like battery polarity was accidentally exchanged in the past, but it looks that it burned its own path through...

Z31 ECU - burned diode help
Hi all After succesfully installing nistune board to the tricky early Z31 ECU I noticed that there is damage of the PCB at the injectors pins (probably result of short circuit of injector loom). Burned track was repaired, but there is also destroyed diode number D191, I marked it on the picture. Doe...

Early Z31 ECU installation
Hello Matt
Can I kindly ask you to check below picture of early Z31 ECU, if Nistune board should be installed at direction as pictured?
Thank you

Re: Idle problem
Its OK to change all values at once, just play with them and check results. By the way, I think that your ecu contains also other mentioned tables, but they are not defined in the address file, otherwise it doesnt have much sense...But try to play with avialable values, with little luck you can solv...

check if you have DTC of knock sensor, as this is causing mentioned timing retard in specified RPM area...

Re: Idle problem
Hi Russ. Mentioned tables (Warmup timing TP max it is currently set at 40 Warmup timing RPM max is currently set at 4000 Warmup timing temp max. is currently set at 205) are conditions tables that I mentioned before. By these conditions is using another table usually called warmup timing table, but ...

Re: Idle problem
Hi there, try to check if you have avialable conditional warmup ignition timing table and conditions for it, this is common at ca18det for example....

Re: S13_CA18DET_39F00_MEC-D007D_EDM_MT hot problems
dont be confused by fuel pressure, you can run any fuel pressure as you wish, but this can lead to some complications with fuel tune....anyway, for your configuration is really no need to run any higher fuel pressure as standard...for me it looks that you K is just too high.... try to adjust it at i...

Re: S13_CA18DET_39F00_MEC-D007D_EDM_MT hot problems
just a quick note to the fuel pressure: standard fuel pressure at idle for ca18det is 2bar (and 2.5bar with enhine off), so you are running 1bar more as standard for this engine...

Re: ECU with enabled VE map-fuel issues
Just remember that the VE map is used in cruise conditions. The accel increase map appears to be the TPS threshold at which the fuel map starts getting used VE map trims additional fuel on top of the 14.7:1 stoich settings. VE map when adjusted will command these cruise conditions. You can always t...

Re: ECU with enabled VE map-fuel issues
Hi Nissagts: you are completelly right, only reason in my case was that owner of car already purchased nistune board for his ecu, before we know these issues. Now he should buy new ecu with new nistune board, what is rather expensive, so I try to do anything to solve current situation. In my case it...

Re: ECU with enabled VE map-fuel issues
Hi all, since will Matt come with solution, here is what I did with good result: 1, Whole VE table was set to 128 2, Whole fuel map was O2 enabled, as standard. However, narrow band probe is not present. Also, whole fuel map was set to 128 (or 0 filtered), except area of higher load, where I used hi...

ECU with enabled VE map-fuel issues
Hi all As was already mentioned here: http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1115&start=15 there are some ECUs-in my case Almera N15 SR20DE, ecu 1N4XX- that have enabled VE map. Another point is that this ECU have enabled O2 flag in entire fuel map. Now my issue-simply said, this ECU ...
