Re: Speed Desnity??

Do you really need to do it as a VE Setup. The Wolf V4 uses the map sensor as its load point and will then add in fuel correction based on an IAT Sensor. Why cant we do the same with the Nissan ECU or at least something similar. Here is something i have been thinking about for a while. Remove AFM an...

Re: Apexi AVCR MAP sensor lookup table

Care to share which wire you tap into? What colour wire on the map sensor?

Re: R33 with flat spot after Nistuned

If this is happening only during warm up check out the warm up timing table, My self and a few others are having problems with warm up timing i am seeing only 7deg's of timing unless i get a bit heavy with my right foot. You will see its set to 7deg between 1200rpm and 2400rpm hits 8deg at 2600 12de...

Re: changing knock map changes ign retard tp & rpm cold timing

I still have this exact issue running RB20ecu on an RB25. When warming up im getting about 10degrees of timing unless i put my foot flat. Very very sluggish exhaust is much louder aswell. Happens when leaving work during a warm day aswell as the cold morning

Re: Type 2 in Z32 for R33 RB25DET pinouts - document

I have no problems with cold start, idles high when cold, then settles down when warmed up. It has a slight tendency to want to stall at times when the rpm drops quickly.

Re: Type 2 in Z32 for R33 RB25DET pinouts - document

I had a chance to work on my car on the weekend, I removed the wire on the loom that goes to the fuel temp pin and installed the Z32 ECU with a 2.2k resistor for the fuel temp. I started the car and opened Nistune, the fuel temp sat at 23 degrees, no DTC codes. With that fixed I warmed it up and too...

Re: rb25 on rb20 ecu

As said before use the base map and then resize injectors and AFM at the same time. You will also need to know the lag times for your injectors to get it right.

You should then follow the nistune documentation on fine tunning your K constant.

Re: rb25 on rb20 ecu

I have 2 recent posts in this section about my rb25 running on an rb20 ecu in one of those's posts is the stock map. FYI no injector wires need to be swapped. The rb20 ecu has injector 2 and 4 (i Think) swapped compared to the rb25 ecu. However the ecu uses batch firing of the injectors. Injectors 2...

Series 1.5 is real its a series 1 body with series 2 engine. I have no ignitor pack and a shitty looking bonnet so is a crossover betwen the 2 series.

Re: Type 2 in Z32 for R33 RB25DET pinouts - document

Matt I am using a S2 AFM in my S1.5 R33 So either the S1.5 uses it as well or there is no difference between them as i have had no issues and no tune tweeks to get it running smoothly.

I should note this is in my R33 running an RB20 ECU not my frieds S2 R33 running the Z32 ECU

Re: Type 2 in Z32 for R33 RB25DET pinouts - document

The ECU was out of the car when I took these ohm readings, voltage when it was installed and ignition on. I used the map supplied with the nistune chip, which had the transferred RB25 maps. I adjusted fuel and ignition maps a bit, and set up VCT to work with RB25, I think I left everything else as s...

Re: Type 2 in Z32 for R33 RB25DET pinouts - document

This is a better example of the ignition retarding. Notice how it is almost the inverse of load.
What would make the timing do that?
