Re: TP Scales

Stay the ECU maybe in the closed loop on the lean spot? Had similary issues on a big power SR20. Look into this tread http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2239 If that is not the case, it could be really a better decision and less work to change the fuel scale. Nissan made on the most e...

Re: TP Scales

I'd certainly make it more linear unless you have a good reason to do otherwise. Sometimes people keep the off-boost portion relatively stock and then ramp up the on-boost portion to stop running into the last load column too early. These days I tend to do the opposite. Ramp it up steeper in the fi...

Re: Guide How to set High Gear maps on Z32 ECU :-)

Thanks for that ... this would be the empirical way finding out when the ECU switches. But wasn't there actually a formula based on: Speed / RPM / Gear Ratio to calculate ? I don't know how to read this heximal stuff. As soon as i have a bit more time i want learn how to interpret them. But i'm ver...

Re: Nistune Release 0.11.1

I agree 110% :) Yep, too small ... Yes i agree too. Another thing is when you increase the parameter window (for example afm parameters) you can't see the whole numbers and you see only the halve of the last column when you scroll to right(at 5.12v) you have to adjust the window very small, that yo...

Re: bin file for modified bnr32(rb26dett)

I changed to my nismo mafs this weekend and I kept the stock gtr maf curve and doubled K as a starting point and so far car is running fine, still needs a dyno tune to adjust for the other mods I have added but otherwise its drivable, thought it would be helpful to post my experience Have you also ...

Re: bin file for modified bnr32(rb26dett)

The thing to remember here is that - yellow graph is Volts vs kg/h (maximum load that can be measured) - VQ map is volts vs ECU TP scaling (0-65535) Yep that is clear after your last writh up and I'vr seen that the yellow graph is in kg/h. My thought was, that the small correction for the Nismo afm...

Re: bin file for modified bnr32(rb26dett)

If i interprete the voltage vs TP curve from the Nismo AFM right and you tweak the Z32 curve to a bit to match the nismo afms. you will end with the same curve as the orginal BNR32 AFM-curve, isn't it? I could make sense, that nismo has choised the same curve, that you have only adjust the K-Value? ...

Re: Warmup Timing Table values?

Hi all, I've been having a few issues at cold start (UK) since my car was mapped. I had everything done at once so is difficult to narrow down the root cause :( R33 type 1 RB25DET fitted with z32 ecu+type 2 board / z32 MAF / jecs 550cc car starts fine but as soon as I use light throttle it splutter...

Re: bin file for modified bnr32(rb26dett)

what kind of mods does the car you are about to tune have? Main specs are - Nismo AFM's (used ones, i hope they work right  ) - Garette GT2860- 7 - Big FMIC - Open pod filters - Better flowing ex-manifolds 3.5" Turboback Exhaust - Not sure about the Fuel Setup, i thought Sard 650cc injec...

Re: bin file for modified bnr32(rb26dett)

Probably not but the Nismo AFMs use the Z32 MAF setting in Nistune (make sure to use the halve tickbox when resizing MAF) Also adjust for the 1000cc injectors and find out the latency (start around 900uS if unsure) then use an AFR meter and adjust injection mutliplier to get the car running right a...

Re: bin file for modified bnr32(rb26dett)

Can you post the nismo calibration graph, please. I had alot of problems with the last car i tuned with nismo afm's, but it was with a Apexi Power FC and huge modifikations, like big singel throttle body, big turbos etc. The Power Fc isn't a very good ECU for high modified cars, especially if you ch...
