These can be flashed easily using most J2534 pass-through interface. You can buy updated flash files direct from nissan site (no dealer # required) for $20.00 US. The problem is decoding the flash file, ive never really seen one or messed with this stuff yet so I dont know what that entails, but the...

I am not sure if this is what you are referencing, but the function of "accel increase volume" commonly found at &H0200 in the 4cyl ecus (ka, sr) is to max the TP load variable used to plot the fuel correction table. The table (accel increase volume) is indexed with RPM and the data va...

Also I guess I should note that this ostrich 1.0 has worked with some previous Nistune versions, not sure where the break in communication happened though.

Debug log is attached.

Spam prevention

Hey guys, I know this forum has decent spam user prevention by requiring admin to enable users, but as an extra layer of protection I have found this system to work extremely well in phpbb2. http://www.thepcspy.com/kittenauth Even with using the default kittenauth captcha, it has virtually elimated ...

Heres an interesting hardware solution. http://www.jbperf.com/p&h_board/ If I recall he goes into a little bit of detail on the chips he is using. I try to stay away from peak & hold injectors as much as possible with the nissan ecus. I havent tried this hardware addition but looks to me lik...

One thing I have seen nissan use it for on similar vintage ECCS is ignition trim. It will cut off x degrees on a 16 point temperature scale.

How are you searching the code? Looking for adc access?

Does the code use two 32x1 interpolation routines or just one?

I completely understand Matt, my comments werent really directed towards you and I should have said Nistune has potential to do launch control in the future. Just shootin the breeze. I have recently had massive computer issues here at my place, both my laptop and secondary desktop had unrelated moth...

Well, Nistune can certainly do it, using two basic methods that Matt described. The speed sensor based function would fall into the first method (ecu mod), instead of using an additional input to the ecu via the clutch, you would use the speed sensor variable vs. a threshold to "trigger" a...

There is no need for any sort of external unit to do a speed sensor based launch control. It is relatively simple to do and the original MCU can handle it quite easily. Ive done it on the ka24e, and it is common on modified honda and mitsubishi ecus. Let me know what ecu you want to try get it worki...
