Re: sr20det e85 1.4bar
Unex, im curious to know what timing you are running in the boost transition area and at full boost? just curious to see how we compare. or if anyone else knows roughly what a good timing number should be at for e85 in those areas i think around 10 is what i have currently in the transition area. I...

Re: Improved air intake - problems with enrichment!
1. e85 cleans everything in fuel tank, so there is a lot of chances that your fuel filter is jammed. 2. if its not fuel filter, than buy in plumbing store almost any cheapest pressure gauge and check for fuel pressure on the load. If it is falling, when your fuel pump is dead (or its too weak). 3. i...

Re: After plain rebuild: hardly any power
oh, sorry, I wanted to say "it shouldnt be that way, anyway". Because, I think, even if everything would be ok with your engine, you could access these cells with the same boost at least for a short time. I just wanted to say, if this does not have anything with fueling, maybe your these c...

Re: After plain rebuild: hardly any power
if the tune is good, it shouldnt be anyway. Check fuel pres on the load, fuel filter, fuel pump. Maybe you have problems with fueling.ST240 wrote:It's also quite dangerous because load isn't going to where it's supposed to so AFRs are in the 13 range at full boost.

This means try harder
I know it is in manual just dont have it right here, but you can be sure that you can find it.

Re: SR20DET tuning help needed
Its not really possible to log that information as the feedback from those devices is not something like a knock count which can be pulled in against other RPM/load data That sucks, so basically you would just have to hear the sound if your driving with headphones and look to make a note of what rp...

Re: k constant and latency question
K is right, when your target AFR in fuel table is the same as you see in wideband.
If your K and latency are right and you still cant get good idle afr, when you can play a little bit with VQ map on idle. Its very sensible in low load area and it needs some time to get it right, but it works.

Re: Tuning for MAF Reversion?
I've not tried this but maybe decreasing TTPmax figures in the area where reversion occurs might help? This would theoretically limit the injector pulsewidth to avoid the richness. Worth a try... PL Maybe this would help, but it could get some problems to start moving the car, because TTPmax is rel...

Re: Tuning for MAF Reversion?
Found my answer! Can't tune out the "reversion" I will go blow through setup now! :D Is it best to have the BoV AFTER the maf so in between the TB and MAF or is it best to have it BEFORE so in between MAF and intercooler I cured the same problem on my sr with tune. When air goes throw MAF...

Re: sr20det e85 1.4bar
Everything is sooo true what you have said ! I will add just few my thoughts. 1) Gives you about 20% more power than equivalent 98 tune from tunes, what I have saw, I would say you in Australia have better quality 98 than we have here in Lithuania. And e85 gave me about 25% more power. Added I think...

Re: sr20det e85 1.4bar
cant believe no ones posted in this. i have almost the same setup (as you know) but with a built motor. i have been talking to my roommate about switching to e85 soon, he runs it on his mustang. and i have been doing research and have found that it can significantly help. i will have two or three m...

Re: been a long time. sr20det starting a new map
i would not do so big jump between 69 and 86, but looks better now.
By the way, I hope you understand, that when you had load ~80 in old table you had about 13-14 deg timing, while now you have ~32deg. I hope you will not blow your engine

Search in forum about load scaling, because its bad. And if you are running 10.5 AFR I would say its very rich, but of course its up to you
