Ok, alright, thanks. An older info I gathererd here was, that the knock sensor of the CA18 is doing quite well in general.
I dunno either why mine is counting knock during map upload even while the engine is off...

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
I'm afraid, it's still buggy. When I upload a map, knock is "generated" or counted in the very cell that's active in that moment. When the engine is off while uploading, it's the left cell at the bottom (0/0). It turns purple, when "Mark knocking" is on. It's the same behaviour l...

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
Oh, you meant 'once and for always'? I thought, only as long as the instance is running. That's why I tried restarting nistune, still didn't work. Alright, in a few hours I will have 1.2.64 in the car...
EDIT: Yes, knock count is back, thanks a lot!

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
Hi! If this option is still unavailable (not clickable), is there something wrong with the connection (cable) from the ECU to the knock sensor? Wouldn't the ECU display some errors in the consult window then? It doesn't display any message so far in my case. I've been experiencing this for days now ...

Re: Strange warmup timing tables
Thank you very much for this, but what I am already using 1.2.62. Are you sure about version 1.2.54? I think, it's 1.2.64. For anyone interested in the changes in the .adr files in detail (and for me to understand the changes :D ): OLD: AFTER_START_TIMING_ADVANCE,&H 39B0 ,8,1,8,1 ("BASE_CA_...

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
Hey, just wondering where the "Knock Count" consult gauge went. It's not listed in the consult gauge selection as well. Has it been removed? I am using 1.2.62 currently. Is there something wrong or do I have to open the knock warning panel from now on to see knock count reported from the E...

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
The issue tracker site (I guess, that's what it is) doesn't show me anything. White page.
But thank you for the coming solution!

Re: Strange warmup timing tables
Thanks for your reply! But what are you trying to tell me? Are you explaining things or telling me, that I am wrong at certain points? 1) In my "BASE_CA_128_E.adr" it looks like this: AFTER_START_TIMING_ADVANCE,&H 39B0 ,8,1,8,1 AFTER_START_TIMING_ADVANCE2,&H 3B90 ,8,1,8,1 What do y...

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
Alright, thanks for taking care. But I'm wondering - am I the first or only user experiencing this? I mean, the nistune people here must be uploading like crazy

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
Here are 2 videos. One showing how the "Mark knocking" options is disabled in the fuel map and how it won't become enabled after uploading or re-opening the map. The other showing that the "Mark Knocking" option is generally enabled. I cannot tell, when and why it happens that it...

Strange warmup timing tables
Hello. I have 4 problems in 4 warmup timing tables. At least something illogical is going on here. 1) In this version 2 tables have exactly the same name and the same content or relation (RPM - degrees). 2) The "Warmup timing (conditional)" has a wrong RPM scale. When other tables / maps a...

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag
Of course, sorry.
It's a CA18DET, 23710-39F00. Screenshots will follow, maybe even a screen video of the process.

Re: Tuned ROM images here!
Has any guys tried out a tune on - stock 180sx CA18DET engine - T28BB turbo - 370cc stock injectors - R35 afm - the usual FMIC, open pod filters and 3 inch invidia exhaust system. Future mods will be R35 GTR Injectors on top of the existing mods. That's almost my specs ;) GT2560R (if that's your T2...
