Re: WGC34 Stagea Tuning

Hi Matt, Got my ECU back after you so kindly uploaded the feature packs. A quick question: When running aftermarket coil packs, do i need to adjust dwell time or anything like that? Im running Bosch R8 coil packs, and im getting DTC 21 - Ignition Signal, but the car seems to idle fine? In saying tha...

Nistune Feature Pack Install guide

Hi Matt, Just installing my flex fuel sensor converter in my ECU using the online doco. I noticed that in the WC34 section, where you soldier the green wire to V300 actually has the white wire connected. Common sense tells me it should be the green wire (also, a following pic shows the green wire co...

Re: WGC34 Stagea Tuning

**UPDATE** So, car is still sitting in my garage, not finished yet, but have gone with a Borg Warner Airwerks S257SXE and Tial 44mm external gate. I've hit a snag with one of coilpacks (Audi R8) hitting the TCS motor on the j pipe. If i remove the TSC motor it will fit. My question is, can i remove ...

Re: WGC34 Stagea Tuning

No probs Matt. The boost sensor has been disabled during the last tune, but i was interested in replacing it so i could utilize the new feature. Seeing as the stock boost sensor only sees 0-17psi, is it going to be worthwhile if im running over 18psi? Would you say its worthwhile to replace it to si...

Re: WGC34 Stagea Tuning

Its like driving a new car to be honest. Really pulls well now.

As for Dyno time, i understand that time would fly by, just didnt expect it would take so long i guess. You get what you pay for, and at the end of the day, im very happy with the results!

Re: WGC34 Stagea Tuning

UPDATE: Went and got the car retuned today, dyno sheets are below. What are your thoughts Matt? They charged me for 2.5hrs of tuning after adding the modified tune you did. Didnt update to the new feature pack or anything. Excessive? I think it might be. Also, what difference does the boost sensor m...

WGC34 Stagea Tuning

Hi all, This i kind of a long time coming due to too many reasons, but anyways.. I have a 2001 C34 Stagea (Series 2) that has proved difficult to tune. Its been to 2 different tuners (Previous owner had it tuned, and i had it retuned), and both times it hasnt seemed at good as it should (or hoped). ...

ECU in limp mode with Nistune daughterboard fitted

Hi all, Finally after about 5 year after buying my Nistune daughterboard and associate items, i went to have it tuned. When i bought it, Paul had preloaded a base image as he does, to run Z32 AFM, S15 480cc injectors and a T28 turbo. Since then the T28 bit the pork sword and i uprgaded to a GT28RS. ...
