Stinky had a good write up on that in Z31performance.com. Basically the base timing shown on the timing light should be the same as the ECU expects to see. This is different for different year Z's and for Turbo and NA. For my 84 na with the 84 ECU it is set at 20btdc. For my 84 with an 88 ECU it is ...

Problem with procedure in FAQ
Under part3. How do I adjust for different injector size? I tried to follow the directions and they wouldn't work. I worked around it so I thought I would share it with everyone. Also to be sure it is correct. I was working offline so I wasn't hooked to my ECU if that makes a difference. Starting wi...

Dan, I still think the problem is that you are using old address and rom files. As I said before, in late January Matt changed the way the system worked. Go back and start over. Download the NTprogram set up 1.02 then download the latest version of Nistune .9018. Use the Address file for the type 1 ...

Dan, The version .907 you were using was put out in mid January I believe. At the end of January a new set up was introduced. I'm pretty sure this is your problem. Go to the download site and get the NTprogram set up. Then you will need the new adress files that go with the version you have. You hav...

As a starting point, all the FSM i have access to, and Mitchal on demand show the ecu's using pin #29 and a purple wire bring the speed sensor information to the ECU. On my 84NA there was no wire in pin #29. Also NA's have no speed sensor, but the trubo's do. What is the address for the turbo models...

After trying my 84 na with a digital dash and getting the same results as my 84 na with an analog dash, I got 0mph for speed in the log, I went to the FSM. It appears that the NA version with a digital dash has a speed sensor that accepts the feed from the transmision via cable which is changed to a...

ADR files
Since there are more and more people starting to get their NisTune Boards and we have had so many updates in the last month or two. It would be helpful at least to me to outline which address files go with which boards. Explain the difference between the 16K and 32K files. How to make changes in the...

I know that $7500.00 is a lot of money, but it seems that with the market just in Z31's that want the product that you could have them prepay, order the chips and have the bill paid with the first 25 to 30 units shipped. If you tell the people what the problem is and how long it will be once they se...
