Re: Tuned my S14, Ignition map?!

mine something little bit different, as we have not so good quality fuel as in AU, so we have less ignition.
Also, as you can see, I like to do bigger load steps in low area and smaller steps in high area.

I need to be able to load my map in.
I would suggest you to explain in details what does it mean "I tried that one with no success."

Re: Tomei Rytec & Nistune

If you use feature pack firmware, there is no need to rescale (we actually advise against where you have the feature pack) The general rule when you have the total injection multiplier is to use 'K constant' to adjust the load within the factory load ranges in the fuel/timing maps for what the vehi...

Re: Tomei Rytec & Nistune

I dont know how much cost z33 MAFs in AU or USA, but here, they are so cheap (second hand), and as you know they are the same design as HPX, and I can say z33 MAF work so much better than z32 because of reverse air problem, so why everybody still uses z32 MAFs I dont get it. Also I dont see much sr2...

Re: Building your own knock sensor headphones

How much were you looking for your particular ones? 110eu with new bosch knock sensor, or 70eu without sensor but including all harness. Also, sensitivity is adjustable from the backside (you can see the hole near the plug for the screwdriver): https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1...

Re: Building your own knock sensor headphones

I dont want to hijack thread, but had some experience in building my own knock detection. Long story short: for me more convenient is visual alarm not the headphones, because with cheaper headphones you hear a lot of environment noise (especially when car is without exhaust). If you make a lot of so...

Re: Test results: 98 octane vs E85

I was interested in this picture full size: download/file.php?id=2613
but e40 vs e80 also would be nice to see. I am asking, because I think, that going from 98 to e40 gives more power, than going from e40 to e80

Matt, could you post full dyno chart where e20, e40 and e80 compared? I am very interested how much difference is between e40 and e80 in full rpm range. Thanks

Re: sr20det with z32. Randomly dies when returning to idle.

Usually this alone isn't enough to stall the engine ad the rpm picks up again to idle. It is at this point the TP jumps to the higher load areas. Should be simple enough to reduce the TTPmax around these areas to reasonable values to help the problem. The main issue is the very bottom rpm row (800r...

Re: sr20det with z32. Randomly dies when returning to idle.

yes, its also works for acceleration. I want to say, that if you lower to much, you will get lean on accel. The same thing is to log in which cells it floods (injector duty raises on decel) (it will be something around 800-1600rpm with 20-40 TP), so you can lean high TP cells, but make sure you wont...

Re: AFR MIN/MAXIMUM limits

you can do leaner than 14.7 if o2 feedback is turned on. It means, change to raw values view and in the fuel map set something between 128 and 255, so it will be lean, but its o2 feedback range
