Re: simple question, long story....any help or thoughts..?

See, I was thinking it may have been something to do with the ent file not being the right one for the ecu, but I am not the one that does our installs.

Hal, if your guy has any more trouble... Have him hit up Andy

Na ka tune

Today I tuned a ka24de with stock injectors, cp 9:1 pistons and BC 264 cams, an intake, and 3" exhaust with testpipe and header. He was using 89 pump gas. The blue line is with stock mapping and the red line is when I was done. Considering building the engine with cams and pistons (which are lo...

Re: Big power! 2871 sr

Whoa - only just saw this. Good work Brandon. And it's even on a proper dyno! ;) Best I've seen was 275rwkw (367hp) on E85. But that was with the 0.64 rear housing on 18psi. Most guys run 0.64 here as the 0.86's tend to be rather laggy on an SR. How was yours on the road? Go the E85! :) PL PS: Get ...

Big power! 2871 sr

http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn40/4x4le/Dyno/Mydyno4-22-100001.jpg I would also like to add that I just noticed the scanner cut off the tq scale on the far right. The tq and hp were not scaled the same and thats why it appears it does not cross at 5250. My tq peaked at 315 at about 6300 Short...

Re: Launch control

Matt What happened to the super soft launch control that was on the type 3 s13 sr for a little? I think it was on rev limiter 3 and you could set it where ever you wanted. If you raised the revvs slowly you would hit a fuel cut but if you stabbed the gas or moved the pedal fast it would break the cu...

Re: Launch control

It costs an arm and a leg to send anything to Australia and takes forever. So although I appreciate what stu here has done, my question is: Will there ever be an official NIStune release of a similar launch control? I would hope that people developing work arounds to the NIStune software would not d...

I dont see how its offtopic considering why i brought it up. I was suggesting limiting the revvs in launch controll in the same manner that im limiting my total revvs. It will build boost at low rpms and would be great if it could switch to normal maps with a switch.

I think the main reason for the lack of creep is due to the fuel cutting 50 rpms after the ign retard. Boost however may creep on some setups, I know I have 0 lag even if off the throttle for a second after hitting the limiter. I bet it really spins that thing! Now, I do have a question because I di...

Thanks, I do not have an egt gauge in the car so i cant say that i know. The timing is mearly set at 0 and the fuel cut comes in 50rpms after the spark retard so i would assume things arnt getting out of hand too bad. Ive been slamming the limiter all year and i love it haha. The revs are very stabl...
