The problem that the RH WB O2 allways trys to connect to COM port 3 is much more severe, at least for me.

Since COM 3 is being used, I can't assign it to the DLP and that means that I can only log the Innovative and not the DLP.

So the powerful feature of logging 2 devices is lost.

I have the same problem. It occures only in the WB O2LH (the bottom dropdown list). The WB O2RH (the top dropdown list) does show the Innovate. Another problem with WB O2LH (the bottom dropdown list) is that no matter which COM port I select, it tries to connect to COM port 3. See debug file attache...

I just went over all the consult registers available for logging and realised that I don't know what a lot of them mean. I couldn't find out from the documentation can you please explain their meaning? The parameters are: RPM Ref MAF (LHS) Knock sense Knock fuel flag AAC AF Alfa AF Alfa Learn (LHS) ...

Thanks Matt, for some reason the first log file I generated only showed 2 parameters. I now checked a new one and saw that it does contain all the parameters. By the way, what do the LHS and AOI in the log file stands for? I tried to find the parameter that logs the boost/map sensor but couldn't fin...

Consult question

Hi Matt, I have a gizmo made by Greddy (Informator) that plugs into the consult socket and displays various parameters. I bought it before I even heard of Nistune. I now plan to have the Nistune cable plugged pemanently into the consult socket. I was wondering what will happan if I make a Y harness ...

Feature request: log more than 4 parameters

Hi, Nistune can write to the log files only 4 parameters. The ECU I use on my non nissan car (Megasquirt) writes to its log files all of the ECU's inputs and outputs as well as internal flags. That may be an overkill, but I still feel half blind with only 4 logged parameters. Please allow more than ...

I'm allways wondring how lean can I run safely while cruising at high speeds (low load high rpm sites). I get a little nervous when seeing lean AFRs past 3500 RPM.

Any thought on the subject?

Jumper/Switch

Did anyone ever try to solder a switch to the jumer points instead of the permenet jumper?
The idead is to easly switch between the stock and the Nistune ROMs.

I'm curious if the maps can be switched in whlie the car is running, but there is no way I'm risking my ECU just to satisfy my cusiousity.

Generally speaking, if you're too rich on all (or most) of the sites of the table you should change the K value.

If you're too rich only on some of the sites, you should change the values of these cells in the fuel map.

I just opend at a few random S14 SR20DET bins I downloaded from your site and they all seem to have them. Can the sofware show tables that are not supported by the ECU? I'm playing around with the software(I mean "learning" it), while I am waiting to get a board with a 75F00 bin from Pete ...

I assumed that the "High boost duty" and "Knock boost duty" maps control the boost solenoid duty cycle, I guess I was wrong.

What do they control?

Matt,
are you also planning to implement this feature for the s14?
