Re: MAF identification N62 vs N60

I've not seen this type, but both look lefit, but might have different calibrations in them Agreed and Plugging in confirms it; the N62 (inside and out) runs the engine leaner than the N60 (outside label only) So I proceeded with the housing swap. I also spotted some visual differences. Untitled.jp...

MAF identification N62 vs N60

I thought I was swapping an N62 for an N60 into my custom housing but when I popped the lids both circuit boards have "N62" printed on them and their outside labels say otherwise. I wrote in the top left corner what they should be in blue marker. The N60 (with N62 board) I pulled out of a ...

Re: ECU Pulling 5 degrees? no clue why?

1987-1988 VG30E (NA) Thanks, I will keep that in mind!
The donor vehicle is incompatible with nistune (another truck) so a Re-pin will happen no matter what ECU I use.

Re: ECU Pulling 5 degrees? no clue why?

Vehicle has been parked for some time but My last thoughts were the difference in KS Its a PITA to reach in the valley and I was just gonna cut the harness and see but I may be taking other directions. Sadly sell it as my collection is getting too large (by some definition) My unfinished supercharge...

Re: AAC Valve Behavior

Ok here is what I have tried so far. The first value was default the second value is what I tried. 7FBA 06 > 00 no visible change 7FA3 01 > 00 no visible change 7FA4 68 > 00 n/c 7FAD 19 > 00 n/c 76A9 46 > 00 n/c 76AA 00 > 20 n/c I saw no visible changes to AAC behavior but maybe I need to try other ...

Re: AAC Valve Behavior

I just plugged in an ECU off ebay (a18-60 k34)to test it. AAC behavior was different, the problem was less exaggerated and the AAC value did not go all the way up to 80 when driving. I downloaded it to my pc and I'm going to copy the needed items to it and see how it does. Weather has been warmer s...

Re: ECU Pulling 5 degrees? no clue why?

I did a short drive today on a stock ecu I bought to test it. Map tracing was not available but from what I could see in the short period I don't think there was a 5 degree drop. I downloaded the map before plugging the nistune ecu back in and I will copy the minimum needed items from my current tu...

Re: ECU Pulling 5 degrees? no clue why?

You may just have to map for an extra 5 degrees of timing above 2600 (to achive target timing) That approach sounds like I could make tons of mistakes I did a short drive today on a stock ecu I bought to test it. Map tracing was not available but from what I could see in the short period I don't th...

Re: AAC Valve Behavior

I've had a look through the AAC routine in this ECU today (traced back from the Consult AAC output register), I can see references to the Target Idle RPM lookup tables in the routine so this is definitely the correct code However it's nothing like the HCR32 which at least had tables etc which we we...

LOG 2 on 10/23 ECU Pulling 5 degrees

Post tune and log file so I can check it here. I don't have any M30 ECUs to check on however Another log from this afternoon. Ambient temp was about 86F/30C Same modified adr as above. Tune was modified so 25 degrees covers most of the map. Trying to make the problem easier to spot by ruling out ce...

Re: Left side bar items

Cool!
How about an "always on top" option when we right click a gauge? That way a small gauge can always be viewed without having to dig it back up.

Left side bar items

These are convenience items but I figured they might be worth a mention. I think it would be useful for the left side bar items revert to their last used configuration. For example every time I open nistune the first thing I do is minimize Scalers, Limit tables and Timing tables. This allows me to s...
