Re: EGT issue

Hi I made the same experience with SR20det. I saw already 980deg exhaust temps (measured before turbo) on stock S14, if you push them really hard on the racetrack or on the German Autobahn. We spend days to bring the exhaust temp down because we reached over 1000deg with a GT2871 Turbo and AFR's bel...

Re: boost control using nistune experiences anyone ?

What happens to this? tried to map the standart solenoid today to 1,2bar on a s14 with s14a ecu 75f05. Also tried alot with different restriction pills, but it seems not possible to get a accurate boostcontroll with motlre than 0,1bar controll range. I use MAC valves for Evo's, Subaru's and on stand...

Re: injection shout down betwenn 4000-5000rpm

Sent you a mail. Thank you for your efforts! Put the log and BIN file up here or email it to me (info @nistune.com) directly and I'll run it on the bench tomorrow when I get time. I've got a few others to look at and working stupid hours today to keep up with support work so may be some time before ...

Re: injection shout down betwenn 4000-5000rpm

Yes I know that. You can clearly see that it change the injection method before the injection shouts down. It looks like the first action is that the ECU shout down the injectors and in consequence the MAF signal goes down. After that the injection time doesnt' go about 2-3 ms no matter how much you...

injection shout down betwenn 4000-5000rpm

I've spent already two days but haven't found the problem on an EDM S13 200sx CA18det. Firstly I just done a initial map. Every time i try to rev the car @ WOT up, it shouds down the injection between 4000-5000rpm. The engine struggels than and runs only on idle for about 30seconds until it goes bac...

Re: How to tune for open BOV on MAF car

The solution for this BOV problem is quite simple. You have just set the max Tpulse wide between 0 and 1500 rpm as low as possible, without affecting the mixture under loud. find out the max possible pulswide to 1500rpm and set the max-tpulse slightly above. It's a 5minute job ;-)

Re: Guide How to set High Gear maps on Z32 ECU :-)

Think must work internally this way. Rpm vs speed x coeff. However the important thing is that we know how we can use that for tuning. The proceed in my write up works well and its not a big job. What i know, high gear maps is only used for european 300zx, cause the german autobahn. Romchip has ment...

Re: SR20DET tuning help needed

Spot on about the knock sensor DTC. You simply CANNOT tune if you have a knock DTC. Either fix the knock sensor/wiring or fake it out with a resistor. Don't leave it or you're in for toruble. PL Do you mean me? Writed that i bridge sensor with a resistor, or connect a working sensor whit a wire to ...

Re: Cranking fuel tables

Complicated story with this enrichment tables around crank an warm-up. I think all this tables were only made for the emission test. The Europe emission test cycles simulates from a cold start on, cruising through quarters with 30km/h, than through villages with 50km/h, out of town 80km/h and finall...
