Re: rb20det cutting out

Are you sure the speed signal is getting to the ECU? It may be getting to the speedo but not the ECU maybe? A NIStune log would tell. The speed signal wasn't getting through at the start because it wasn't wired into the ECU. I've since wired it into the ECU and it does work but the signal cuts out ...

Re: rb20det cutting out

added this to the attached address file. put the file in your c:\program files\nistune\address folder and increase from 64 to 255 and see if it makes a difference. AF_LIMIT2,&H7EEA,1,1,1,1,TP safety limit I added that into the address file and increase the limit to 255 however it's still cuttin...

Re: rb20det cutting out

Disregard the whole 'Z32' titles as I'm not sure why I named the file name that. Bit more info: The car is an S13 (used to be CA18) with an RB20DET (R32) engine. The wiring is definitely up to shit; whoever installed the engine should be shot IMO. It has some weird aftermarket speed sensor in the ge...

rb20det cutting out

Hi all, Having a little drama with an RB20, 444cc injectors and z32 afm. It seems to run ok on stock boost however even at approximately 12psi it cuts out at approximately 4000-4500rpm. I've move the tp limit up to 255 just to make sure it's not hitting that limit but it's still cutting out. I've ju...

Re: Massive overfuelling at idle

the injection time is huge for idling. should be about 4ms-ish from memory when i was looking at my car idling what size injectors / MAF is it running? injector time also looks very shaky. how does your battery voltage graph here? something definately not right, should be smoother than that Yeah I ...

Massive overfuelling at idle

I've got a problem with a 180sx with an SR20DET....

At idle, the TP is huge and the injectors are running between 12-14ms...... I've swapped out CAS, ECU's, Wiring Harness, AFM and TPS and nothing changes.... I don't understand why it keeps running so bloody rich....

Any suggestions?

A31 RB20DET '.ent' file

I'm having problems trying to get a type 1 rev 3b board working in an A31 rb20det. The ECU works fine with an OEM eprom installed however when installing the nistune board we can't connect via the USB consult. The car still runs OK, it's just a matter of being unable to connect to the ECU. The ECU i...

I have played with your inj and ign maps broadly to give you an idea of what to do to tackle the stalling thanks status, really appreciate your help. it gives me an idea on how to tackle this issue. :) i've changed the injectors back to stockies so I can get the vehicle inspected and on the road......

to be honest it's hard to emulate this on the dyno, just on the road.... i don't think the sniffer up the tailpipe works well enough for checking the afr on decel. :?

I dont think its maf spike, it just doesn't spike that much. Is it possible that it's injecting too much fuel when starting to stall?

logging feature will only record MAF & RPM

I'm using version 9.13.10b with address file Z32 type 2 version 5. I'll go into stream mode and connect with consult, then I'll record a run and disconnect to play it back. As soon as I disconnect and load the saved log file to play back, only the MAF and RPM is show in the log. I have to jump into ...

I'm just running a single AFM setup at the moment.... It's located in the stock location and I think the intercooler may be pushing air directly into the AFM due to its shape. I wouldn't have thought it would be AFM related as the voltage in the logs seem fine when coming off throttle.... or am I mi...
