thank you! I got it working perfectly with the maf input line.
do yo know if it affects anything to the air fuel mixture? otherwise...... why does the 4th maf wire even exist, if it is not used at all...

Re: s13 ca18det FP1 launch control switch input
I also have another two simple questions:
- why can't you use neutral switch which is already present? I.E.: when in neutral free rev, when in gear but < 16kmh LC on, when in gear > 16kmh free rev
- the switch should be push type or on/off? (I have FP1, not FP1.1)

s13 ca18det FP1 launch control switch input
Hello, I have updated my old base nistune to a FP1 board (44F0F) and I tested the launch control feature sucessfully based on speed trigger. Now I want to be able to free rev in neutral/standstill, and also have launch control on demand, so I should wire the trigger line, but I have a question: When...

nistune type 1 with base image 44f07 on 44f06 ecu
Hello, More than 10 years ago I had my ecu upgraded with nistune and dyno tuned my euro spec S13 (ca18det) It has been working great with no issues until last week, when my ecu died of capacitor leak and transistor explosion..... I couldn't find an exact replacement, it was a s13 ca18det 44F07 and n...

Re: Type1: wrong TP and TP Index since last Nistune versions
WTF  hahahah that explains lots of things like I wasn't able to control my AF ratio above certain rpm's..... it overfueled like crazy and then gone lean in other ranges I remember I updated my TTPmax and TPulseWidth values in older tunes but I thought it had no impact so when I started over n...

Re: Type1: wrong TP and TP Index since last Nistune versions
yeeeeeeeep that's weird....
I tried the uninstalling-installing thing... same result. in fact the name in the log has no effect, as if you open it you will find the correct .bin name that was used when the log was taken in the first line of the log.
wating for some input from Matt's side

Re: Type1: wrong TP and TP Index since last Nistune versions
hmmmmmm I just noticed that log's name refers to an older version of my tune, although it was taken couple of weeks ago and my actual one has been uploaded to the ECU months ago. I also made sure I had the right .bin loaded in Nistune. The strange thing is that I'd swear it also reports the TP wrong...

[TESTING] Type1: wrong TP and TP Index since last months
Hi all :) , I tell you my story... (a) Problem description I have been experiencing a little issue since last months: At first, with stock maf and stock maps, the TP load (and its index) raised up to 90 more or less (top of the scale was 83) After installing the N60 MAF and some performance parts my...

Re: Tuned ROM images here!
yes! i've done few hundreds of miles with this tune and few tweaks have been needed.it pulls really hard from very early (1bar at 2500rpm) and very constant until 7k rpm where turbo drops to 0.8bar. I have easily beaten some barely stock s14's so i guess its making about 220bhp The maf upgrade was n...

Re: Tuned ROM images here!
Well,
it's been long time since I last posted here. now that I finished my car (several intake valves were worn), I finished my tune and I re-uploaded the file in my previous post

Re: Max TPulse width & Max TPulse 2 in CA18DET
Hi guys, I have a leaning out problem when reaching the top right cells in my afr map (until the last 2 columns its fine) and I think this problem can be totally related to these two tables, which I think, avoid leaving the injectors open for too long I'll try to put higher values on there and check...

Re: no speed displayed and power steering sw in consult is crazy
okay then batchfire shows only half the duty cycle that really is, meaning 40 equals to 80% duty :) good so, the value displayed when selecting cells in the map is actually valid :). I want to know it cause I have 4 or 6 cells in the top right of the map which tell 100% duty and I don't even want to...

Re: no speed displayed and power steering sw in consult is crazy
Well, the problem disappeared by itself :O i guess it was related to the plasma gauges causing interferences with the signal conversor in the dashboard (high frequency & voltage inversor was too close). now I tested many times in daylight and no probs :) BUT then I found another interesting thin...

Re: no speed displayed and power steering sw in consult is crazy
well, I have isolated the problem reading the FSM, there is only one speed sensor in the transmision, which goes to the dashboard (the speedo works fine there) and from the dashboard it is routed to the ECU via pin 53, so it can be either my dashboard or its harness or the wiring between dashboard a...
