you will find the idle will become unstable if you disconnect the AAC. not sure how it will react with different plenum although plenty of guys have used them before on RB30s, not too sure with standard ECU with nistune board Hey matt, What do you mean by plenty of guys have used them? I'm guessing...

With the nistune ecu, do you have to keep the idle control vavle on the back of an rb30et vl. or can you run an aftermarket intake plenum that doesnt have this?

Nopes the nistune was installed by matt, the car runs fine with the nistune board but i wanted to change injectors and stuff and i can as it won't stay connected to the laptop to fine tune everything etc etc.

and whats this clip you are talking about and what is it meant to do?

it drops out very rarely when engine not running but with engine running it drops out heaps,

i have added another earth from battery to body and the battery to engine is good

i'm using neally one of the lastest laptops out, as its a rent laptop... its a toshiba satellite
