Re: S14 - hitting a fuel cut at 5600rpm

What does that mean?

The speed limits are all above 400kmh or something unreachable.

Re: S14 - hitting a fuel cut at 5600rpm

Engine speed limit is 7200rpm, road speed limit is maxed out.

S14 - hitting a fuel cut at 5600rpm

So I was working on a S14 today, It has Z32, is hitting 4.3volts from about 4500rpm and at 5600rpm the injection duty cycle is cut right off. I think the injectors are 840cc´s, They show 57% and right after 5600rpm they show 3%. I´ve raised the TP Load, max injection time . What else can there be th...

I haven´t mapped a RB26DETT using nistune yet. but I did do one with power fc. More about it here http://www.gstuning.net/e_Xodus.aspx?id=39&MainCatID=20 It wasn´t all that different from tuning with Nistune to be honest as most of the setup is the same. MAF, Sensors and so on. It has now run a ...

You should already be at MBT anyway is my saying.

Lean doesn´t automatically mean better mileage.

The only indicator of actual lower usage is the change pulsewidth at cruise.
or a dyno.

If you start dropping power then you need to open the throttle for more air , and more air needs more fuel.

You´ll need to review the load between runs to successfully make sure that the load is not changing from the MAF but inside the ecu.

Is this true between the various multi coil nissan engines?

I.e they all have that sort of voltage signal to the ignition amplifier?

Thanks for the info though.

Thanks.

Can I safely assume it´s a square wave and in the square wave is the dwell information?

Ignition signal output waveform for external drivers

If anybody could help me out.
I´m looking for the waveform of the ignition output signal to the ignition amplifier.

most specifically the voltage. The SR20 manual suggests 0.1-0.2v
But I need to verify this .
So if anybody has an oscilloscope and a few minutes that would be a great help.

Thanks.

I´ll have to get a graph of the results but at about 15psi it made 320fwhp and 300lbs torque on a Dyno Dynamics machine. Car´s overall behaviour is great and not one hint of a tuning solution in the original ecu. I ran steady 12:1 AFR at full boost , 13:1 in the transition to boost and 15:1 during c...
