the mitsubishi recirc bov off the rb20det and rb25det and wrx would be a good valve to use, they are good, but the flange is to large for where i want to mount it, so i have to get a bosch and get some bungs welded. no cold start issues ever since that second cold start map was found, which is ident...

Check the other thread as posted by me and I now have pics to prove this, as you can also seen in your logs. An atmo venting bov is the same as no bov when it comes to airflow meters and big turbos. The standard factory turbo is small and has convulated inlet piping to help dampen the effects when t...

Sorry Guys, I forgot I put this post up here. Here are the log pics below that prove the problem. I have shrunk it all down so it’s easy to see. In this pic you see the purple line (afr) has been full cut because of the tps being fully shut, so no surging or jerking present, note the green line af...

Further Progress: Require Blow Off Valve with Nistune
Well I have been stuffing around a bit trying to tune up the old girl with a newer turbo on the car, what I am finding when I back off the throttle whilst on boost, like say back off from 5psi to 0psi, the car will surge and jerk like a mofo. Unsure at first what was going on, I was watching the the...

ok, i had a look at that, thats handy if you want to change a cell that is not closed loop to closed loop by adding 192 or vice versa. but it does not allow yoy to disable from closed loop values less then 192. i don't really understand how you can have less then 14.7 afr (192) in a closed loop area...

disable closed loop, possible?
how to disable closed loop feedback? i thought you just slid the temp slider up from 30 to a high value, but this has no effect on closed loop operation, it still operates in this mode regardless of how high the setting is. i remember in the old software version there was "bit"options to d...

have you disabled closed loop feedback before trying to adjust those cells. some of the sr20 and other later model nissan ecu use closed loop on idle, so if you try changing the afr, it will just keep returning to 14.7:1 or stoichometric ratio. if you have big cams or desire a richer or leaner afr (...

i haven't read all this thread, but if your having trouble with fuel pressure being excessively higher then standard, or the pressure will not drop when adjusting the regulator lower (if its adjustable type). remove or disconnect the return line from the regulator and put it into a bucket/suitable c...

group vs simultaneous changeover when?
Hey Guys, Does anyone know anything about how the ecu calculates when to change from group to simultaneous injection mode? Is it calculating this all the time depending on pulse width or is it a fixed value? I'm guessing Matt could check this on the bench rather easily, if not already known? Once yo...

ok, fairly sure i worked out the problem. it looks like it the excessive timing change between the two timing columns its accessing, either i will have to spread the two columns further apart by increasing the load tp numbers, or change timing so there is only a 2 degree maximum timing change betwee...
