Re: sr20det e85 1.4bar

Unex, im curious to know what timing you are running in the boost transition area and at full boost? just curious to see how we compare. or if anyone else knows roughly what a good timing number should be at for e85 in those areas i think around 10 is what i have currently in the transition area.

got my car dyno tuned

Got my sr 240 dyno tuned today. Made 380rwhp at 310 torque. A little low of my goals but was only running 17 psi. Went from 15 psi at 350 and 290 to 17 psi making the above horsepower. Thats 15 hp per psi! The tuner didnt want to raise boost anymore than that on 91 pump gas. I thought I could run a ...

Pete, i can across a similar post from you somewhere else and enjoyed the insight, and its great to see that you're having
success with e85! im going to get my car dyno tuned here this week most likely and idk what tune to get yet. one for 91 or one for e85? or maybe both if its cheap enough :D

Re: sr20det e85 1.4bar

yea, i wouldnt be changing it a lot. i would usually prolly run the 91 tune but run e85 if there was an event or somthing a long those lines. i think ill be getting free oil for awhile so thats nice!

Re: sr20det e85 1.4bar

Re: custom twinscroll manifold!

Just letting u guys know. The manifold seems to be working magically. Quick spool. No leaks. No boost creep. So far im loving it. Im running a shitty tune currently on a low boost setting (.8)bar and im estimating 325 hp. I have a friend with a newer vette that makes 375 ish. We did some highway pul...

Re: been a long time. sr20det starting a new map

yea i havent been able to mess with the ign map, i havent put anything on the car. im just trying to get a good load scale, then mess with the maps. i will most likely go back to a close to stock ign map as im sure its much more conservative. and then when i am able to get it on a dyno ill be able t...

Re: been a long time. sr20det starting a new map

maps havent changed, i havent really had the time, my grandfather just passed so i will be messing with it more after everything calms down a bit but i think that the load scales (fuel and ign) look a little better? more reselution in high load areas and less at idle and normal driving conditions. l...
