Re: Tune issues
My theory at the time was the sensor feedback was turned off thus in thoery the ecu didnt need it connected  Would also explain why everyone elses cars have been fine as they all had 02's connected  But anyways now its fine :) so i can dial in it completely and get on with ecu based boost...

Re: Tune issues
Thought i'd update this
Found out it was all because the o2 sensor was disconnected as its duff. But assumed since the o2 feedback switch was turned off it wouldnt matter?
Got a new o2 fitted and enabled the feedback and everything came out nicely without any changes to the map

Re: wideband lookups
preston,
if you click browse next to the wideband lookup location.
you can manually tell it what folder to look at and this will get your wideband working again

Re: maps/tables in use highlighting
go into configuration and in the miscellaneous settings (bottom left) You should see the option - Map highlighting (testing)
Havent tried it on my car yet but i'm guessing you need to click it to enable it

Re: VE table and open / closed loop threshold on 70F05 95 S14
I ran into the same problem with a european model S14a (82F06 ECU) Below ~ 3000RPM and up to ~ 30-40 tp it refused to get out of closed loop, whatever I tried. for a car with stock injectors/afm/turbo this is probably ok, but not if you had to rescale TP because of different injectors/AFM and a fas...

Re: Controlling boost via the ECU and a 3-port solenoid?
i've measured the resistance of both a gizzmo mac solenoid and a stock s14a and the resistance is 1-2 ohms difference Just need to cut the connectors and fit push on terminals then i'll do some investigation work on the road. It has been investigated in a thread on here before but with a stock solen...

Re: Tune issues
Fordy, is your fuel pressure OK? Is it holding OK up top? Did a bit of investigating into this, seeing as my pump is hardwired to the battery in the boot to get full voltage didnt think there would be a problem with the live side and the fuel pressure reg and fuel filter are brand new nissan ones. ...
