Re: 1989 R32 GTS-T with tomei 2.2L and HKS gt2535
yes it was, we used the copy fuel map option, if I remember correctly...(the filtered values) when i un checked the use filtered values, the right most high oct. timing values were not in the 20's but it the 100's. so the pull we did right after putting the official 20's deg timing was simply amazin...

1989 R32 GTS-T with tomei 2.2L and HKS gt2535
Well I forgot to post result - they were tuned on a Dynopack dyno. these are the final results after 5-6 hours, I had lots of problem first cause the ECU pulled back on timing around 4k. I remove the check mark "filtered" and finally saw that in the right most section timing was in the hun...

Re: Dyno Results!!
Well I forgot to mention it but it's an AVC-R! I'm wondering if by enriching a bit around the 2500-3000rpm/ retarding 2-4 deg if I could spool a bit faster? I discussed it with the tuner and he told me: what counts is torque and I agree. I just didn't have enough time on the dyno to work out the low...

Well it really looks as if it was the tune...
I'll explain in my dyno thread a bit later
After I copied the regular fuel and timing map to knock map with a slight safety margin,
It never reocured.

Major Overboosting Issues : 1.6Bar!!
So since last year I've been running into some problems with my car. for the most part, I though it the over boosting was caused by: - blown turbo -dirty Intercooler -oil coming from the broken turbo seal going into manifold, burning in the exhaust manifold My car is as follows: R32 GTS-T Tomei 2.2L...

Map expansion and timing
Well I want to expand my GTS-T map to 7500RPM and I was wondering how the timing should go? at 6400RPm it has the base 20deg timing in the last load column with a TP of 63 with GTR injectors. I'd like to know if you need to advance tiiming and add alot of fuel when going above? I know the torque usu...

a RPM/s equation result
Well this is a technique that I've tried and I'm not too sure of the results. but here goes, with the help of excel. Let's say we do a third gear pull from 2000 up to 6500 rpm at WOT. by using a trend line, and putting the equation on the graph, it actually give you the rpm/s. (Rev per min / seconds...

Q1 I don't know for sure in nistune how to do it, but I know the Zeitronix Wideband will give out a fake Narrowband signal for the ECU to use, it can be set at whatever AFR you want. BTW a narrow band )2 sensor will never be able to make out wether your at 10 or 12.5 for the sencond Question you hav...
