Re: LM-1 no connection

The issue is solved now. On my laptop I have Logworks 3.07 and this works with the LM-1 and Windows XP. On the desktop I downloaded the last version of Logworks which is the 3.38 and this doesn’t work with the LM-1 and XP. I installed 3.07 on the desktop and it’s fine with both the COM port and the ...

Re: LM-1 no connection

Hi Matt, I'm not much further yet. I posted the issue on the contacts page of the Innovate website and a friendly chap from Autometer.com replied that There unfortunately is not a way to get your Windows 10 computer to talk to the LC1. That might explain the issue with my W10 desktop but not with th...

LM-1 no connection

Hi folks, I will need my Nistune board in the near future but I’m having trouble with my Innovate LM-1 controller. The only setup where it is possible to connect to a PC is on my old laptop COM1 port. As I would like to replace that with a new one, I started testing the LM-1 on another PC at home. I...

Re: CA18DET TPS voltage

If I remember correctly, there are same era TPS with movement direction opposite to CA18's..... RB20's ? Thanks for this info. I'll try to find out about these. Meanwhile I found there was some play on the drive because the flat shaft didn't go deep enough into the TPS housing. I fixed this and now...

Re: CA18DET TPS voltage

Hi Matt, I didn't drive the car yet so I don't know how it reacts. These two parameters that you mention are they dependent on throttle position or on throttle movement ? In the first case I should perhaps worry and try to fix, in the second I can give it a try and see what it gives while driving. T...

CA18DET TPS voltage

I recently replaced my engines Throttle Body by a larger (Chinese ebay) item. It rotates in the other direction so I had to modify the TPS sensor. For the potmeter part this was rather simple, just swapped the two outer pins in the plug. But the ECU also wants to know when the throttle is closed and...

The non-O2 ECU has at least one transistor less on the PCB.

Nistune is a dynamic and evolving system and I am glad for that.
I think Chris' explanation is a good answer to my question but it would be nice to see it appear in the updated manuals.

Matt, I'm completely lost, sorry  ROM file = ROM image = **.bin file ? Is that correct? I'm not shure about what's ment by "sync into ROM image". I can't see the context. There is a bin file loaded into the ECU. While testing, I modify the maps of this file. When satisfied with the r...

Matt wrote:- Added missing maps indication when loading sync into empty ROM files (orange highlights)
"Loading sync into empty ROM file" is not clear to me.
I have the "TP Load Limit" highlighted with a bin file that didn't do that on a previous version.
Should I worry?

Re: speed sensor voltage

as im adding a speed sensor to my car, does the speed sensor signal need to be a 12v, 5v or ground signal? I'm confused by this question. Most obvious answer is that it depends on where you're goung to send that signal to. But that might not be the answer that you were expecting... is there 5v avai...
