Now and then after selecting different maps the knock fuel map will turn pink? Never the knock timing map, just the knock fuel map.

I don't think I'm knocking because I have a S13 240sx and the knock count in the knock panel in nistune stays at 0.

I also have seen it happen while my maps where stock maps and my car isn't modded. I've seen it happen when playing back logs from previous drives that I never got close to WOT. I really don't think I'm knocking.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the info, just wanted to make sure I wasn't knocking.

I was under the impression that the knock panel would indeed show the ECU knock count on my Ka24de, is that feature not yet implemented?

Not fully implemented. We havent advertised this as working yet

Bascically the NIStune application code is all ready to use a knock input and display (knock panel, knock cells on maps) as well as log/play it but we are still trying to get the input from the ECU and knocklite working

Got the knock lite sitting on the bench waiting for some time to get it gonig but I'm chasing a few issues at the moment

I saw a post on one of the SR20 forums saying that NIStune does this. This is not true at this stage until fully running. Once it is then we will add it to our 'features'. We have a lot of interest in getting this going

I'll investigate as part of firmware updates happening upon Type 4 OBD-II completion
